It was time again to get on tour with our oversized dingy. This time we went to a country where the liquor is cheap (yes right) so the Isis NED-16 was loaded with some cans and bottle. Not to much because we didn't want to get caught moonlighting

The journey to Hanko went smooth. We were in time for the ferry where we met the the Blade runner crew. Not knowing that we would be drinking champagne on both our championships on the way back home.

After some delay at the crane we finally go in the water just in time to a great cocktail party at Petter Fjelds home, and an even better boat ride on his mega rib back to holland house

After some tune up with Maurice on Hanko race week the European started. The team consisting of Jeroen/Peter and Maurice got a 21rst en 22nd place the mail competition Knock out had a 13 and 21. In the evening bad luck struck with mooring the boat and Maurice couldn't sail anymore. So Linda who had planned a week on the "sloep" (kind of Duth motor boat) with the girlsfan team was back in to sailng again. The result was 21rst and the opponent had a disc.

On the third day Piet van Opzeeland was flying in to be a spectator. Plans were changed and he got to helm the ISIS so Linda could get back on the 'sloep' taking pictures and everybody was very happy with a 11th en 18th place.

The last day with linda on board again because Piet went home all we had to do was make sure there woulde be more than 3 boats between knock out and us wo we kind of trailed behind him and got a 22 while Knock Out had a 21rst place..

ISIS got to be European Champion with 5 people sailing it, we still can't believe it but that evening we got ( slightly underdressed because some more hickups at the crane) a real price handed out by a real princes so it must be true. That evening we had a major buffet at the hotel and an international after party in the garden of the hotel. On the way back together with Modern Times they tried to drive the trailer on 3 in stead of 4 wheels. One of the wheels went off and took a fieldtripof 150 meters into a corn field. They must think they have aliens making strange cirkes in the corn. Well a 5.5 on trailer is close to a UFO anyway. With 7 5.5 on the Ferry a small celebration was in order. We left some of them in Travemünde to go racing there next week
